Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Just noticed audio46 and bloom are selling Khan 2ND GEN. What's changed in this revision?

Technically speaking, there never was an official "2nd" generation, the community essentially dubbed the revised Khan, as "2G."

The second generation uses a recessed socket, and is slightly larger than the first iteration Khan.

Also, for quick reference, the SN# were printed in color on the 2G rather than white.

Curious. Might there be any reference Noble UIEM/CIEM for sound mixing and mastering use? General brand image seems to be IEMs meant for fun listening.

The Sage, Savannah, Savant (G1), Savant (G2) possibly the Khan or the Sultan would be a candidate for such a task.

I wouldn't consider the Dulce Bass or the Django for such use.

That said, we do have a product that is being used in the mixing industry that was designed in conjunction with folks in that industry.

In fact, this is one being built:

I don’t own any of the high end Noble IEMs... yet... but I do have the Noble Savant II and the Noble M3, and for both I’ve been using the DEKONI Mercury foam tips. I picked up the Noble M3 at CANJAM 2020 in NYC, cause the fit with the foam tips was perfect for me, and I instantly fell in love with the sound, and it was within my budget 😉. The pressure from silicon tips can be uncomfortable for me... HOWEVER recently, I’ve been listening to my Savant II using the SpinFit silicon tips, and I’m really liking what they do for the sound.

So i tried the sultans this weekend as they finally came out in japan this week. Mr. Wizard looks like they will be added to my collection of iems in the next couple months.
Its funny because after going back and forth between Khan and Sultan it reminded me of kaizer encore and katana. Khan to me is like the refined version of katana with alittle more bass.
However it doesn't have that extra kick that I get from kaizer, yet i get that from sulton with a wider sound stage and you hear the details of part you might miss and how this part was off key that you never noticed.
So i would have to say khan makes music like it should sound, great with details and beauty. Sultan lets you hear the finer details you missed and the imperfections that you never heard that make you appreciate the created master piece of sound you're listening to.
To me this is the true successor to the kaizer thank you for making such a beautiful master piece that i look forward to owning later on in the future
