Well, this is very bad impressions for a TOTL iem.
2nd person did an impression.
Wondering if I jumped on board too fast for new iem from Noble?

I definitely wouldn't say so. The Khan is an excellent entry into the TOTL space, especially in terms of stage construction, detail and physicality as I and others have mentioned. It does have a couple cons against it in discerning tonal shifts, lower-midrange power and a hint of tizziness. But, when you look at the bigger picture - i.e. the competition at hand and where the Khan is positioned relative to them - the Khan definitely offers enough to distinguish itself against them. I wouldn't consider IEMs like the U18t, Legend X or VE8 any more of a better buy than the Khan, nor vice versa. I guess what I'm saying is, these impressions are only very bad if compared against the Everest of praise usually bestowed upon new flagships nowadays actually attributed to instant gratification and - for lack of a better word - hype. To my ears, the Khan can definitely stand head-and-shoulders with the rest. It ain't perfect to me, but nothing is either.

And look on the plus side if you don't like them when they arrive you can probably sell them for not much of a loss as they aren't producing huge quantities of them...

I get the impression that the Encore is the true successor to the K10. The Khan is another project entirely. I've not heard the Khan mind. I really want to at the earliest opportunity.

Agreed. I personally can't get past the lower-mids and the tizz if I were to use it as a mixing/mastering piece, but it's an exhilarating listen nonetheless. The bass is pretty outstanding indeed.

I don't see why not. But, you do have to request it. They aren't displaying it front-and-centre yet at the moment. Oh, and you must refer to it as the Genghis or Genghis Khan. Simply say Khan and watch as their employees stare at you as if you're speaking gibberish.

I hope more people hear it soon. It’s precision, transparency, and physicality of image without resorting to thickness is outstanding and almost second to none. Super airy too for those classical lovers.
