Well, this is very bad impressions for a TOTL iem.
2nd person did an impression.
Wondering if I jumped on board too fast for new iem from Noble?
I definitely wouldn't say so. The Khan is an excellent entry into the TOTL space, especially in terms of stage construction, detail and physicality as I and others have mentioned. It does have a couple cons against it in discerning tonal shifts, lower-midrange power and a hint of tizziness. But, when you look at the bigger picture - i.e. the competition at hand and where the Khan is positioned relative to them - the Khan definitely offers enough to distinguish itself against them. I wouldn't consider IEMs like the U18t, Legend X or VE8 any more of a better buy than the Khan, nor vice versa. I guess what I'm saying is, these impressions are only very bad if compared against the Everest of praise usually bestowed upon new flagships nowadays actually attributed to instant gratification and - for lack of a better word - hype. To my ears, the Khan can definitely stand head-and-shoulders with the rest. It ain't perfect to me, but nothing is either.
