Hi everyone,
I'm planning to get the massdrop k10ua, currently I'm lucky to have a k10ua with me for demoing. I have heard the original k10u acrylic few years ago. My audio memory is very tricky. But I find the the k10ua to be on the edge of being little bit harsh to my ears. Is it my ears or the aluminum version is having different treble response than the acrylic?
If that's the case I think I'm going to wait for massdrop to do another k10c drop or get a used pair
Wait for Wizard birthday sales which is coming up soon.

You could always get a copper cable to warm it up slightly. I got my massdrop k10u and got impatient waiting on the balanced cable I paid extra for, so got a headphone lounge copper litz balanced cable. Warmed it up a bit, actually not sure if I like it more than the stock cable. I do kind of wish I had gotten the custom as I can't seem to get a good seal with any tip I've bought, same with the shure se846. Think I just have weird ear canals.
