The savant and the 846 r two different animals. Just my opinion, but 846 is more fun focused, while the savant is more balanced focussed. If u like a fun focussed type product, the k10 is a better candidate

The timing was perfect, Savants arrived yesterday just in time for an over night burn in (yes I'm one of those) and off to sit on a beach in Corsica for a week tonight. The other half already isn't impressed, apparently there's no need for 5 pairs of headphones! Before you ask no she doesn't understand the difference between over ear, on ear, open, closed or iem

Bax are really, really comfortable but there is literally a birdsnest to contend with every time you take your headphones out of whatever you store them in. Super Bax should ameliorate that to some extent.

 
Do you slide the splitter-thingy up to your earphones ? It should help with the birdnest issue.

I do this with both my phones. It just means the earpieces don't get tangled with the rest of the cable. It does help.

It definitely helps on mine. Mind you, the lower part still gets tangled to hell, but at least I don't have to also disentangle my earbuds as well.
