Of course, we at Music Sanctuary and Noble take good care of our customers and we are in contact with this customer to see what actions can be made to rectify his issue.

I will discuss with Brannan to see what we can do for this customer. :)

I have neither the N3 nor of any comply foam tips but I remember when following the Dunu Titan 1 thread that the sibilance could be tamed with tip rolling. So don't give up hope just yet

the right tip might be your saviour and be the cheapest solution too

Interesting, maybe I'll give the silicone tips a shot, anyone have experience with this?

I agree! I have 3 1964 personalized cases for my IEMs. Very nice quality.

As it is, we have many people stateing that our IEM/Universal carry case is too large and they would prefer a smaller carry case.  Some even state they do not use the carry case because it is too large, and prefer to use a carry case offered by our competitors.

A partition system would require a larger carry case....   which isn't the direction that people in the past, have indicated they would like us to take.

Which case comes with the universal Savant? Is it an Otterbox or a Pelican or else? Which size?

Go mountain biking and then listen to them. The sense of accomplishment and the knowledge that they're waiting for you when you return will make them sound even sweeter.

My N6 are out for delivery and I'm hoping they'll arrive soon because I want to go out road biking :)

I did... 2 and half hours mountain biking, a lot of hard work climbing up (at certain points, to motivate myself was imagining the K10s) and great fun/trill rolling downhill (fell from the bike, but nothing too serious)... (to be continued)

Going mountain biking is how you get dirt on the bike, avoid at all costs, that's what I do. My bike got a bath yesterday, lubed the chain, then went for my ride at about 7pm. Even got my new brake pads in from ebay, should be good on those for years.

You are right, riding on trails and getting your bike dirty (especially with mud) or constantly pounding the front fork and rear shock, it is expensive maintenance, and safety wise, not advisable... BUT, adrenaline rush and fun out weights the cons (for me).

Let's continue with the K10s, managed to spend 1 uninterrupted hour with it (sorry, was pretty tired after the ride :p). It
was just pure bliss, closing my eyes on the couch with an Heineken bottle and hearing the details music coming at you from different angles... I felt asleep very quickly

Nevertheless, the K10C does sound slightly warmer from what I recall, when auditioning the K10U... maybe because of the better seal you get from the K10C...

  Which DHC is that?

And, the connector is pretty tall. Will it look funny when wearing it? :p

Just Eidolic (http://eidolic.com/) DIY parts used to make the cable looks a little bit more nicer.

Well, coming from someone who wears over the ear closed headphones when traveling... having the connectors sticking out a little bit more, does not bother me

... besides, most of the people will be wondering about the blue things stuck into my ears and not connectors

Which case comes with the universal Savant? Is it an Otterbox or a Pelican or else? Which size?

The case is a "storm box."  (Storm box is a product category, not a brand, and an otterbox/pellcan etc etc are considered a storm box)

The savant case is the same case that is used with all other Noble univ products.

Approx size  5 x 3.75 x 1.75 (inches)

N4 arrived and are sounding great. Figured I would have to do some tip rolling, which I did. Haven't gone hard yet but surprisingly the foamies are actually comfortable for me (typically can't stand foam). Probably will go with a double flange of some sort  to get a better seal with silicon. Any suggestions from users with experience with a noble universal IEM and silicon tips.

Meelec m9 bi-flanges work really well for me. Not the most comfortable but the easiest to seal properly. As for comfort , that will depend on how deep you insert them.

For ultimate comfort, comply is the way to go.

1964 Ears seem to have managed it...

Yes, for their CIEMs,  wonderful....  I applaud them.

The product in question though is a Universal product, which are inherently smaller than CIEMs, and generally fit, more closely the definition of what portable audio is.....   small, easy & convenient.

I'd like to maintain the theme of being "small, easy & convient" as well with the carry case.

But hey...  who knows, maybe I'm missing out on a huge sector that really wants to tote around a lunch box for their universals.

(10$ Amazon partitioned too)

Maybe providing 2 or 3 options would be the best solution. For example, All universals come with small hard case (like the round metal ones, just enough to fit IEMs), customs come with peli style storm box, and a third soft carry case option. We could 'upgrade' to a higher version or buy a second case straight from you guys.

The logistics would be a challenge. We would have to have different size packaging for each storm box, have the web site adjusted for such an edeavor, have different size packaging located/stored at each of our shipping locations, would have to tie up capital that could be used for different projects...   and fragmenting our storm box suppliers would lead to higher per unit costs as well.
