Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Noble wait=Dog years.  Not really that long for such a fine product but you feel like you are aging at a faster rate.  I am thinking of starting a thread for those of us in Noble Purgatory.  Where we can discuss such boring topics as when did we order, what did we order.  How many dog years have we been waiting?  What do you all think?

They say it takes 13 hours to build a Toyota and 6 months to build a Rolls Royce. We are in a groove right now holding steady at 6-8 weeks or 30-40 business days, let's keep it that way.

WOW. Of course I'd rather have a Rolls (who wouldn't??), but that is ridiculously efficient on the part of Toyota. I'd heard they're good, but 13 hours? Simply unimaginable.

Do you have pics of Cocobolo? I have always had a thing for it since using some for a job. I also like the fact that it is traditionally used in instrument making. Purple Heart is another fave.

Impressive, true, but I'm pretty sure that's 13 hours to assemble a Toyota. If you worked in all the time of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers it would be a different picture. However, the main point still applies, that Noble makes a high-end, hand-crafted product. Brannan and Dr. John could shorten the wait time by hiring and training a whole army of Noble employees, but then there would be a risk to quality and their business model - both which could risk putting them out of business. I'll take the wait time and a highly successful Noble company - they've earned it! Cheers
