Just received my Noble 5 (universal).  I had broken my Westone UM3X about 2 months ago and have been in the market for a new IEM.  I decided to go boutique instead of mainstream to see if there was much of a difference... and WOW - Westone has nothing on the Wizard!  I've also owned some Ety ER-4's in the past and while very accurate, they weren't very musical.  These specific IEMs are both very accurate, but very musical - a combination that seems to be very difficult for others to replicate.
 
It would be cool to be able to geek out and know the overall frequency response of the unit and maybe the exact impedance at 1K, but for now I'm really just enjoying what higher end IEMs are supposed to sound like.

After finding this thread and reading the multi-iem comparison by joker (amazing job), I've narrowed it down to either Noble or 1964. Those of you that got the K10, I'm so jealous. That is a thing a beauty though way out of my price range.

The best would be for you to go have a listen at the demo units of the custom iems you are looking at and let your ears tell you what you like.

Great communication and support so far from the Noble team for me as a CIEM noob.
Excitement abound at what the Wizard will create; if its anything like as good as on this thread, I will be very happy

FWIW I did the same mental comparison when I was considering CIEMs (as well as Ultimate Ears and JH Audio). I weighted in favor of the others as I liked the idea of buying from an American-based company, but I didn't find any offerings where I liked the price, the look and the sound signature the way I know I will for my 4C.

In the end I went with Noble because,

1. I could get the design I wanted exactly.
2. I know their build quality is among the best in the industry, if not the best.
3. The 4C has the sound signature I wanted in a headphone (neutral with a solid sound stage).
4. For what I wanted Noble has the best price by far.

@Kozato - I signed up for the wait queue on demo units from 1964 ears. I didn't see a demo page on Noble audio unless I missed it. I'll give them a call after work to inquire. Thanks For the suggestion.

@DougofTheAbaci - The 4C or 5C are the models that I was eye balling. I also wanted to keep it in the US and support local companies that have great products and customer service. I just need something at work to help with the hell that is cubicle land.

I don't believe that Noble has a standard demo policy (at least not the same as 1964ears).  I think your best bet is to:
 
1) See if there are any distributors near you that have demos in stock (this is more if you are located in Southeast Asia; I don't know of any in the US).
 
2) Try to find a local Head-Fi meet or audio show.  You will probably be able to find somebody who has a unit for you to demo, and Noble has gone to a few of the shows with demo units.
 
3) Send a PM to Brannan and ask him if there's anything he can do to help you with your concerns.

This is solid advice and no, we don't have a demo program for our CIEMs. There are a number of reasons for this and my head hurts just thinking about them.

Brannan's based in the US and Noble's customer support is outstanding (more props to Brannan here). So, check and check, I guess.

Also note to self: Stop looking at the Noble Thread, those designs are beautiful and make you want to get another one.

 The Wizard Design and the Wizard Reprint, is an option for any Noble CIEM, and yes it is "extra."
