Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I'm trying hard to adjust to the fit of my K10c's.
After a refit they are much better.
They are no longer painful but still not perfect.
One side in particular feels very "full" in the ear canal.
All other aspects of fit are excellent.
The sound is to my ears little short of magical, so I really want these to work out and don't really want to chance another refit.
I am very interested to know how others have got on with their CIEM's.
Were they comfy from the get go, or did it take time for you to get used to them?
All replies greatly appreciated.

My only odd moment with a CIEM fit was on my very first try with my maiden CIEM. It felt a little jarring and alien. With my K10, it felt great right from the start - it was snug but not overly tight, and it certainly wasn't loose. Sound was perfect, and comfort was at an optimum level. I think that's how CIEMs are. Once you're used to how a custom feels, each subsequent attempt to use them should feel more natural than anything else. You shouldn't be experiencing any discomfort or pain.

Maybe some ears might need time to adjust, and I certainly hope this is the case with your K10s, bro! Good luck!

Maybe a follow up appointment to check things are as they should be?

I agreed with Gisele that I will give them time. I guess I was just trying to get others experience to get an idea of what I can expect. At the end of the day Gisele can only go by what I tell her then it's down to the lab technician to interpret that in the light of their experience. Rather a long winded process!
Thanks for your interest. :)

I got used to my 4C's fit about a couple of days after I first tried it on. I never felt any discomfort or pain, but eventually found out that it wouldn't seal because I inserted it immediately after cleaning my ears (no earwax/lubrication = good luck with that) and that I was inserting it the wrong way.

I think John's correct about right-handed people having trouble inserting the left earpiece because they do so with their non-dominant hand, since that's what happened to me. Practised until my left hand got used to it and now I don't have any fit problems at all. I say give it some time and let your ears (and hands) adapt.

I'm fine, when I do go to bkk I rarely go to that area, I stay at a much more subdued area.

But our Noble dealers are near the blast zone, I'll need to check on them and Rico Suave.

Good to hear, now who is Rico Suave, you mentioned him before. I always think of the video below when you say that name. I apologize to anyone who watches the entire video, some things just never should have been made.
