@SeeSax (Collin) and I just published our Kublai Khan review. Thank you Collin for putting up with me and Leroy, the gruff interviewer. The review includes an interview Leroy did with @FullCircle who of course is the mind behind the creation of the Kublai Khan.

When you scroll to the end of our review @Jackpot77 has an excellent review posted of the Kublai that he published a few days ago.

I wonder what those plates are and how they work and affect the overall sound of Kublai? I literally don't know much about the bone conductor drivers on IEMs

Below is a question that Leroy did ask John (FullCircle) from Noble as part of the review.

"Leroy: SeeSax and SLC think there is magic in the bone conductor woofer. How did the use of a BC come about?

Dr. Moulton: Exposure to bone conduction was from my days in Audiology. The use of bone conduction as a conduit of sound has been going on for over a century.

“Ludwig van Beethoven, the famous 18th century composer who was almost completely deaf, discovered Bone Conduction. Beethoven found a way to hear the sound of the piano through his jawbone by attaching a rod to his piano and clenching it in his teeth.” Goldendance.co.jp

Bone conduction hearing aids have been utilized by Audiologists for many decades to assist the hearing impaired. For those that do not know, I have a doctorate degree in Audiology and worked as an Audiologist for approximately 10 years before I founded Noble Audio. It was a natural progression to implement a bone conduction driver into the Kublai Khan."

For me the BC with the Kublai is a perfect way to feel the sub bass. The BC provides a very palpable woofer sound. Palpable is a great word to describe it. You can feel it. And it is done cohesively. I can separate it out if I want to focus on the woofer sound but when listening to the music in general, it integrates well into the overall sound.

This is prototype not final look. Basically same to Viking Damascus but the price will not be expensive as Viking Damascus.
I will leave details to @FullCircle to announce. Nice details on the side body

That would be the Hong Kong version

Both designs are very unique and provide a nice contrast to each other. Well done, John!

Great review! I just came back from auditioning KK and you guys hit the nail on the head. My immediate reaction from the audition was... "this has everything that was missing with Phonix". Yes, my personal preference, but I tend to agree with the comparison with Phonix. One of the best IEM today that has a great balance, timbre, details, and musicality, all in one package.
