VE6 XC is a Cross over change/adjustment, so the answer is "NO"  it is not the same.

The "R" option on the Noble CIEMs is not a "cross over" change/adjustment either. There is an actuall addtional "Reference" type driver added to the CIEM.

For example:

One can place an order for a 3C + "R" which means 3 drivers + 1 Reference. (a total of 4 within the CIEM housing)

When the switch is activated, the 3 drivers are turned off, the signal from your dap, is then transfered to the "R" driver and the CIEMs are now in "R" mode.

This IS NOT a X-over adjustment, this is really TWO products in ONE housing.

and in theory, with the IEMs, if you add a resistance adaptor, you now have 4 products in one housing (kind of mind boggling)

This looks interesting... And of course the Wizard designs look fantastic as well.

Question- are the "R" configurations of the PR and FR models sonically similar or even identical? Judging by the description, it seems that way. So the difference between models is in the "switch up" position?

Yes the "R" in the IEMs and in the CIEMs are identical across the Noble Line up (CIEMs and IEMs)

The description of the R model seems to be very similar to the ER4S family of iems, Id love to see how the two compare...

One more question, is the PR series really has a 240ohm impedance or just a typo?
Cause the volume changes from P to R will be quite large if the sensitivity is similar in both ba driver.
Or Noble you get some special technique to tackle this?

I'm gonna shoot you guys a message for some CIEM's. I'm leaving my current CIEM provider due to their customer service. Looking forward to our business relationship!

Do you recommend I get new molds or just send you the old ones I took back in 2011?
