Thanks

The block of wood was a remnant from a prestige CIEM.

Just wanted to post out my thoughts on trying out one of the products from Noble Audio. Not an audiophile by any means, so please forgive my horrible explanation.

Had a chance to try out the Kaiser Encore. I own an FLC8S, been using it with red+gray+gold filter. Just a bit more information, my source is a Galaxy S8 with Dragonfly Red, playing mostly FLAC files > 48khz files.
I must say that it feels like the Encore is a direct upgrade to the FLC8S. I can't really describe the difference in words, but it just feels less fatiguing, has more soundstage. Still retains the airy mids that is found in the gold filter of FLC8S. There's obviously quite a huge amount of price difference, but at the price point of both of these IEMs, I'd say they are worth more than they should, both of them. Kudos to Noble Audio for such a great product and my luck too, for having a chance to try out one of the most touted IEMs out there! :)

Sensing some serious magic going on! :D

Anyway, need your help guys. If no miracle happens in next month or two I'll have to pass on those purple beauties, but I am going to - I MUST - make my dream come true and own a pair of Nobles. Need some advices tho.

Which ones would be the best for extreme metal and electronic (black, death, melo-death, metalcore, synthwave etc)? I'm sitting with my Cardas A8 30th AE right now and I love the meaty bass response which both has body, power and enough speed not to sound muddied, the rich, full mids and not offensive, but quite capable and natural sounding highs? Might seem like an advert but I just wanna know which Nobles from classic line will fit in the best for a rather full sound with solid bass, well-bodied mids and creamy highs :) I love the sound of fast, energetic drums, dynamic guitars and crashing cymbals without that pesky overly bright tone. Vocals are... less relevant :D

Counting on you, guys! :D

The Encores just like the OG K10 handle anything you throw at them.

Yes, the Encores are hard to keep in inventory.

Thanks for the comments

Brought your Encores down to the St. Louis Head-Fi meet Saturday. Those who tried them out had nothing but praise for their sound.
