Have you listened to the K10? It is hard to imagine the difference betwen the two with just their respective graphs. Encore is more neutral and detailed. K10 has a more elevated bass, perhaps v-shape sound. Both are equally good, one is more analytical, another more 'fun'.

I have had the K10's for several years now. I have never found them less than enjoyable and musical. I heard the Encore at the weekend. It is astonishing IMHO. The only thing I wonder is if I would want to be continually astonished at how good an IEM is or if I just want to enjoy my music... That said if I was buying now I would go for the Encore

I've had the Encore for a few weeks now, using it as my main driver. Trust me, you can be both astonished and enjoy the music.

BTW, my review is well underway. I hope to have it done by the end of the week.
