Hey guys, just wondering about what is supposed to happen after ordering customs and sending in impressions. Is there usually a conformation email that the impressions have been received and/or sent to the lab? Or just radio silence until I actually receive the iems? I've emailed Noble a few times about this but no response...

You will get a mail from the lab in China once they receive your impressions.

Hi Guys,

Loose pin connections
With the stock cable the right side is super tight. The left side is just okay. Occasionally i notice it's coming loose.

I had the K10's sent back to Noble for repair for a different issue. Mentioned this, this is how they came back - so it's good that they haven't deteriorated any further.

One of the pins snapped on my stock cable, I intend to buy some new pin connectors and repair the cable. However, In the meantime I've purchased an aftermarket Ultimate Silver Lavricable - Still in debate as the whether i'll keep it - it's quite bulky.

Has anyone come up with a risk free solution to loose pins? :)

Get a pair of pliers squeze the pin flat, dont bend them flatten them. That being said, do not apply much pressure, as it doesnt take much to make the pin more oval than round. If you over do the procedure, u end up with a cable that cant be inserted into the socket, so proceed with caution

Brilliant - thanks. I have some non-toothed pliers which will be suitable.

Looking at the noble website, do we have any idea when the clear cable will be back in-stock? Although, If there's no sonic difference, i might pull the trigger on the ultra-tin - It looks super comfortable.

Best wishes,

Joe

But fairly fragile FWIH. The Linum cables are thin and quite strong.

Kaiser Encore personal design. I think they look amazing! The only reservation I have is about the logo looking green while I thought the clear design looks white, but I'll hold my final thoughts till I get them in hand and have a look at them in person.

Wow, this is actually smashing! Nice design choice there!

That gives me an idea. @FullCircle: Do you think you could print initials or short names in that luminous hue?

I was just at the noble booth at CanJam NY and I was asking about the clear cables as well. I really like them and was hoping to get one more for another non-noble iem I have. Found them flexible, good looking and sounded fine for not that much cash. I was a little disappointed when I was told there is a chance this cable will no longer be stocked. I hope if Fullcircle can confirm this. The stock black is fine too but from the show it seems there have been some revisions done and I highly perffer the older version so I'm hesitant to order a spare black from the site currently. The ultra thin is a good idea but I'd rather have that extra strength, the Bax cables seem very well made as well but it seems they alter the sound and I want to avoid this. If anyone at noble can clarify my concerns that would be great.

The dirty phrase is moq. (Minimum order of quantity) to get clears built, we have to meet the moq, if the damand doesnt justify the moq, then there is less motivation to procure more clear cables.

On the face plate, that can be done without question. The shell would take some experimentation.

Thank you for the clarification for the status of the clear cables. Can you confirm if the stock black cables now all have the metal bit at the y-joint and the the removal of the memory wire? the memory wire gives me a better fit and Id like to avoid as much exposed metal bits on the cable to avoid scuffing up the finish or paint on my IEMs since Im slightly OCD about these things.Just notice on the demo units at CanJam they all stock cables had the new logo'ed metal part and I think the lack of memory wire and would like to know if I purchase off the site if the old vs new version would be shipped.

I would be tempted to put some clear heat-shrink round this part - to avoid scratching your CIEMs. I store them together also, in a glasses case.
