  Can someone please comment on or direct me to some impressions, on the difference in sound between the K10 aluminum housing and the original K10's.
 
I'm a 1/2 step away from getting one or the other...

I have the K10UA - the best looking chocolate in the box.
I think it unlikely that people will have both original K10U and the K10UA to compare.
I'm guessing they will both sound the same as they have the same internals.
Is the acrylic version still available?

Might be some k10u inventory left at some dealers, noble direcct only has the k10ua

The k10UA is more sparkly, and has more treble energy, while the custom is smoother, richer, and thicker.

Always nice to see you Sorenslim.  I won't bore you with the details....but you missed about 3 hours of animated gifs and about 3400 posts of jokes.  Oh right there is the whole new K10 universals (that are spectacular btw) and SLAs (budget customs)...alone with 100 posts or so from Brannan and John with custom Noble IEM pr0n.  Now that you're caught up, hope you're doing well and keep up the good work with the family and job....I know exactly what that's like.
