I too loved my 380CU look, but I really was unhappy with polishing it regularly to keep it looking at its best. When the SP1000 was announced it was clear after the decision to sell and buy the SP1000, that I wouldn't make the same mistake. too OCD.
Anyway I love the look of the SP1000 stainless its stunning really and you will appreciate its look as much as the 380CUim sure.
If you don't mind polishing and creating swirls etc then by all means buy the CU1000, I really don't believe it will sound different, the sound of the SP1000 stainless is fantastic.

Could you please give me a link to find that product (Liquid Polymer stuff) for cleaning ? if the product doesn't make the copper shining and lose its initial color...

Why it is not possible to easily launch the play of a track from the "playback history" by just clicking on it ! IMO this make the "playback history" quite useless !

Thanks a lot for your prompt follow-up. We really appreciate A&K's support to the Head-Fier community.

BTW, now, even at home, I listen more to my SP1000 + Shure KSE1500 than my home system (BHSE + Stax SR009) !! It is almost as good and so convenient to be able to carry music from rooms to rooms !

Preferences aside... Measurably, no (close though). Power output, no. Of course preferences play a huge role in what we like.

Based on what metric? This seems like quite a false / gratuitous / unsubstantiated / subjective statement.

Power output no, but precision and details YES. The rest is a matter of personal preference: the MOJO has a warmer signature intended to sound more appealing, but this is not always the reality of the recording.
The SP1000 offer much more realistic sound IMO...

no... real means conform to what the microphones have recorded. Of course this do not apply to electronic music where there is no possible comparaison to the "real" thing.

to me real is how it sounds live. Live being played in front of you not whats recorded.
