Can anyone recommend a solid box to store SP1000 with a set of IEM? I like the Pelican cases but I don't know which one can fit SP1000

I'm sure they will charge a lot for this case. There is another case by Van Nuys that costs 99$ for a very basic case that should normally cost less than 10$: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VanNuys-As...ng-Case-Type-A-Black-F-S-/292296388103?_ul=CL
It's always like this for any item made by A&K in collabortation with other companies. Even the case for my SR15 made of PU cost me 70$. This is ridiculous!

I mean, you bought the player... you think the BOM and cost of NRE in Korea is even close to being proportionate to the price for the DAP?

The collab case that was posted actually seems like a nice design. I just preordered mine. IMO, it's certainly a nicer option than a pelican case despite the price difference.

For what it's worth, I've just gone through the (rather difficult) process of ordering a couple of cases for the SP1000M directly from Van Nuys in Japan using a re-mailing/forwarding service (tenso). I think I did it correctly, as I saw the charge post to my credit card. If I actually ever receive them, I'll post the pictures here.

I got the VD952 vertical case in camel and ballistic nylon.

Just received a very polite email in Japanese that these will not be ready until May 16th.

This is a very beautiful case and not very expensive. Thank you for sharing the link. I wanted to order from there too but they do not ship overseas.

Yes, I had to use a mail forwarding service. They provide an address in Tokyo, and then resend to me in the US. I'm expecting the final cost with handling fee and shipping to be about 5000 JPY more than the cart total.

VanNuys orders through Buyee seem to be really slow right now. I ordered an iPhone belt holster and it looks like it's being made after the order went in (through Buyee/Tenso). Ordered March 22 and they told me it should arrive at the warehouse in Japan around April 22 (and that it is being made "to order." Last time I ordered an SP1000 leather holster it took about three weeks (they were back-ordered that time). This seems to be more of a VanNuys issue than Buyee. They make good cases and holsters, so I guess it's wait or buy something not as good. And since our equipment costs so much, I don't see any issue in having to pay a premium for perfect cases/holsters.
