Looks like they don't have any cable strain reliefs and I wonder how long it will take before the cables begin to fail?

Perhaps there is something internal?
 
I remember when people asked the owner of Thinksound about his products, he mentioned that the external strain relief wasn't the only strain relief.

Hopefully there is an internal strain relief, but it would be better if it had an external one as well. It looks exactly like the eq7 but without the external strain relief. Does anyone know if they use silver coated copper cables with the eq5?

they mention something about a mechanism that allows the wire to turn 360 degrees, this may be some sort of internal strain relief
