anyone try 1795 -------> ba20?
What happens ?

Hoooooo boy, now THAT’S a stack right there. R2R2000 red as DAC (which also serves as my DAP for actual on-the-go listening) into BA300S Mk II into BA-20. Shown with the LCD-i4, and you’ve got wonderful, spacious, warm and detailed sound, especially with the Roon presets that bring out the maximum potential of the earbuds. Now to see how this setup sounds with my KSE1200. Fun!
Out of curiosity, anyone have any experience compating between the BA20/BA300S stack and the Cayin C9?

Does anyone know if BA300S can be connected to a desktop dac with an RCA cable (output) with 4.4mm (input)?

Thanks. I'm thinking about buying an SMSL SU9 and I wanted to use it only with the BA300S, with such a cable.

Yes.Have you tried?

I have the old BA300 and I'm unimpressed - out of my Sony ZX507 or Fiio m11 Plus it sounds dirty and rough - i get that it's supposed to add tubeness to it, but it's not the good type to my ears - something what a Woo WA8 sounds is good - i.e. smoother and more holographic with added sub bass, but the BA300 just dirties things up and sounds forward and agressive, removing it from the chain gives me relief.
There must be something wrong with your unit. Mine is connected to my WM1A. I would not listen to the WM1A without it.I have the old BA300 and I'm unimpressed - out of my Sony ZX507 or Fiio m11 Plus it sounds dirty and rough - i get that it's supposed to add tubeness to it, but it's not the good type to my ears - something what a Woo WA8 sounds is good - i.e. smoother and more holographic with added sub bass, but the BA300 just dirties things up and sounds forward and agressive, removing it from the chain gives me relief.

There’s nothing wrong with mine I think, it drives headphones fine and sounds within acceptable parameters. It’s just makes things sounding too brittle and top treble a bit harsh.. it does add some tubeness I get that but the side effects are too much for me... probably only because when I plug my Woo WA8 instead I get the ohhh moment, this is what the tube sound is about.. ofcourse the price difference is huge, but still for the money I expected more from the BA300s
Perhaps it needs more burn in or it doesn’t play nice with balanced armatures

I second this, I translated the included documentation into English & any reference to the included op amps & swapping them was not clear, at least to me. Is there a guide anywhere please?I would like experience to change op-amp for BA20,
