My name is Jesse and I'm new here. New to headphones, kinda. I've always had headphones since the on-ear foam padded Sony WalkMan days. I did have a nice set of Ultimate Ears IEMS for awhile that I really liked. And I have a set of Westone custom mold musicians IEMS that my wife got for me. Trying out different over the ear; both closed back and open back now. I've always had a HiFi, so the HeadFi is both familiar but different.

I've recently started the long journey on the quest for the infamous "end game", and thought to myself, why not with other's help along this perilous roads. Hey folks,

Another first time poster saying hello here. My current regular cans are HiFiMan Sundaras, Sennheiser HD 660s’, and occasionally (if I want an easy, unfussy closed-back experience) my AKG K371’s.

At home I use a Topping stack but I also have an iFi hip-dac 2 that I use if I’m travelling.

Looking to graduate to a better (most likely Planar) headphone and have wanted a nice tube amp setup forever. Two at-times difficult things to combine, I know.

Anyway, hopefully I won’t bother you all with too many annoying questions. I’m here to read, learn and discuss but I’m under no illusions about still having a lot of learning to do.

Hello! I've been interested in headphones and audio for many years, and I thought it was time to join this community.

I'm currently using the Sennheiser HD800 and ZMF Verite Closed at home running off a Schiit Bifrost 2 -> Lyr3 stack. The next step is to upgrade my source chain, and I'm excited to see where this takes me and to meet all you wonderful people!

Dipped my toes in with a Schiit Magni3/Modi3 combo running to HD58x. I've always assumed my hearing was not great from abusing my ears. Then I tried a nice pair of speakers and now my curiosity has been piqued. Interested in experiencing different things but I don't think my wallet agrees.

Been reading thru the forums to improve my little setup - Schiit Vali 2+, Senn HD600's - and thanks to everyone else's more educated posts things are sounding much better.
