Hi Felix,
Nice rig you have. I really like the stand, classy. Can you tell me who makes it?

Thanks Rob

Thanks! I've made the stad myself using Ikea hardware. I found the idea on head-fi a couple years ago. It's made from:

Ekby Bjarnum bracket

Capita leg

Attest Knob

and a random piece of wood.

Since everything came in pair, I was able to make another one for my brother's HD380 Pro.

Hey all,
Just joined the site today out of frustration
i am a music lover and its the most important thing in my life, besides people. I didn't know how extensive the quality of headphones can be until my research brought me to this site and i'm glad it did. headphones will be my next adventure and it seams all the advice i need is within these here walls. So here's my dilemna, im tired of using itunes to track, organize and listen to my music. i want a contained storage of all my cd's on a dedicated laptop/hard drive in a program that is not in need of wifi or anything proprietary. i currently have probably 2500 cd's and the collection grows weekly. i'll keep all my cd's in storage for safekeeping but want to upload everything into one device, preferably portable as in a laptop and hard drive with the the sole purpose of storing my music. my research has brought me to the interest of a Fiio X5 Gen 3 as a great portable device for the car, home stereo, friends stereo etc. i like the idea also of being able to give the gift of my music to someone with my music loaded on it already. i am not a super techie guy but i do understand things when it's explained to me. i live north of nyc and would love to learn how what and why with all these issues! not sure if im making sense or even addressing the right audience but hey, i'm learning!!
Thanx and hello to all

Michael

Hello,

My name is Tim from Oklahoma. I am returning to mostly analog for my listening pleasure. I just purchased a pair of 70th Anniversary Klipsch Cornwall III's and a McIntosh MA2275 integrated tube amp. I am researching turntables, headphones, and attempting to find some LP's that I know I have in storage. I look forward to using the site and getting back into music.

I become more audiophiliactic with each upgrade. I am now selling pints of blood to afford my addiction. Does anyone know of a 12 step program?

Ah heck, I'll just stay sick and hang around here.

My pet peeve - an audio review comparing budget-fi or mid-fi to sticker-shock-fi. Well, I would hope that $200 dac/amp just doesn't quite compare to that multi-$k one!

Greetings all!

Yet another Canadian here. I initially found my way here about a year ago while looking to dip my toes into the water with a new DAP. I've recently pulled the trigger on a FiiO X5iii which I'm really enjoying and would never have ended up with were it not for the forums here. I imagine I'll be seeking suggestions for new IEMs to go with it soon, but for now I just wanted to say hello!
