Hi All, I've been lurking here for years but never took the time join. I recently downsized and sold all of my stereo gear which quickly lead to me wanting to update my headphones. That led to a buying spree and then a bout of upgraditis so I wanted to finally become a member and be able to trade in the classifieds.

Just another lurker trying to move into the light!

I got my first pair of decent cans, HD580, as a tack on to a computer purchase, and that set me on a path!
I recently pushed my wizened HD650s aside for the Utopia 2022 which has me reinvigorated and looking at the rest of my stack.

V interested in recs. Haven't dabbled in tubes at all, but now may be the time!

Also been a lurker. Just getting into this. Have had the Asgard 3/HD 660s for a little over a year and just got the Sony ZX707 and IE600's. The forums have been a great help for me so far. Thanks.

I'm new to head-fi and really got into this site because of my son. We share a love for music that is great quality!
I am from the Baby Boomers and my son is a Millennial. So I was around for the transition from 8-track, cassette and vinyl to digital. And now of course, what's old is new. Looking forward to discussions and reading through various posts!

Hello to all,
I’m Fred, from France , basically a new enthusiast who enjoys reading other people’s reviews and recommendations for a couple of months but who hasn’t taken the time to join until today!
Just purchased my first « real » pair of headphones with a used Monolith M1060, which I intend to mod, and evaluating my way up and sideways….: maybe a Sundara or Ananda, HD600, then Focal Clears and Audeze LCD-X… I want to find a set of 2 or 3 pairs to end my game!

Hello Head-Fi Mouseketeers,

I'm rattling my tin cans from Sydney, Straya. A fellow music tragic with 30+ years of training their ears and constantly curious and open to music of any genre. From tape decks to Discmans to iPods to Astell & Kern players I've had a Head-Fi journey that has similarly played out before me on these forums. I've been lurking on and off for yonks in between life - thank you sincerely Head-Fi moderators, creators and regular posters for being so generous with their time to corral this disparate crew into a community that has been informed and entertained for years.
Hope I may be able to contribute something worthwhile to some of the threads with my experiences, largely with daps, iems and small desktop setups. The journey continues to be a brilliant (costly) ride!

New member stopping by to say hello. My audio journey started many years ago with an old 50lb boom box as a kid. About 5 years ago got into Hifi with a Sennheiser HD650 & little dot mkii. Lovely first setup with many hours logged. Now into iem's & dap's! Pretty content at the moment but we all know that won't last!

Hello All! New member from Seattle here, but have been reading various threads and reviews for years now and have been super helpful in buying gear. This site helped me pick my first headphone that researched and buy, the DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm, and what a improvement that is coming from free oem ones.

At this point in time, I have a Topping A90D/D90 and a Meze Empyrean, and also still have the DT 770.
