I am not new but I took a break for 7 years or so. I have revitalized my interest in headphones for music listening at home. Right now I’m using a Mhdt Havana with electro harmonic 6692 tube (with adaptor) going to a Pass Labs Whammy. Headphones are Beyerdynamic DT990 600ohm. When I want to listen on speakers I use the Whammy as a linestage by plugging it into a Kinter 2020A+ which drives homebrew speakers made from Markaudio Alpair 10p drivers. This way the Whammy works as a line stage. I use Mogami cables throughout the system and stream from Tidal HiFi or Apple Music. This hobby has brought me so much pleasure in the past few months!
