New Head-Fier
Oh hi there from Canada, eh.
i've been entering slowly into the audiophile world for a few years now. Started with a set of Sennheiser HD518's. Then with research decided to get a cheap souncard with a headphone amp (Asus Xonar DG). Then more research and stepped into a Schiitstack with a Gen 1 modi (used) and Gen 1 Vali after buying a set of used Beyerdynamic DT990 Premiums. Been content enought with that for a while just because I didn't have spare cash, but have always been eyeing the HD600. Instead I recently went on a buying spree with Tin T2 IEMs, an HD58X and Takstar HF580 with plans to mod the 580's.
I have actually had a run in before (besides anonymously browsing threads for ages) with head-fi however--back in 2016 when we did the Overclock.net x Head-Fi podcast. I used to be a co-host for the official Overclock.net podcast before that folded and OCN became all but a hollow husk of its former self. Was fun while it lasted though!
So yeaah. Here to research and discuss audio more officially after lurking around on and off for years. Cheers folks.
