Hello!

My name is Ron and am new here...Been lurking and my friend finally talked me into joining Head-Fi.

I have a modest set-up, Schitt Vahalla 2 and Beyer T1's and a few older heaphones. I have a set of HD 600's on loan and may buy them from a friend.

My buddy down the road has let me use his Burson FUN heaphone amp for the past week and asked me what I thought of it....I got to
compare it to my Vahalla 2 amp and liked it a lot.

I will try to post a better review soon.

Thanks for activating my account Head-FI!!

Hello everybody.

I'm Daniel from Spain. Looking for some advise to buy a good hifi player. Dunno if it's possible to use the device as DAC, connect it to a PC and play a MIDI keyboard without latency in this way. Still doing some research. I will post soon about this...

:-)

Greetings

New to this forum but not to good audio.
I'm one of those anormal people who do not enjoy warm headphones.
I guess the reason why I do not enjoy them can be explained by my music preferences:
I almost exclusively listen to Ethereal wave, Dark ambient, Shoegaze and Neoclassical darkwave.

Howdy folks!

As a long-time user of "whatever headphones fit comfortably and suck the least", I bought myself a pair of the Massdrop x Sennheiser HD58X's this past holiday season, and that showed me what all I'd been missing...
and got me hooked on the wonders of headphones I've missed since my high-school basement listening sessions (ok, the headsets I used then sucked too, I'm sure.. but I still have powerful recollections of late-night listening sessions and the impact those had on my musical tastes).

At least now I can share my new obsession with you all -- be it picking up a pair of equally nice closed-back cans, discussing headphone amps / DACs / DAPs, etc.

Cheers!

Hi guys, new to here, rather noob with hi-fi audio, I'm using audiogd n11 dac, and nad hp50 headphones, plus I put lamp buffer and pre-amplifier in between, I have little trouble connecting my android phone to dac, and I found post that might help here on head-fi, although I heard about the site long time ago.

Hello Everyone

I have been dabbling in the audiophile "hobby" for over a year now. I got introduced to head-fi by fellow audiophiles from another forum (FB) called The indian Audiophile Forum, or TIAF as we call it.
My journey can be summarised as below.

Xb950ap > Dt770pro > X1gen2 > F9pro > Cayin n5mii > isine10 and Meze 12 classics > Shanling m0 > Topping NX4dsd > Moonbuds waxing crescent
Of these I currently have the isine10,meze,Moonbuds and the nx4NX4.

Next stop will be an open back. Yup took me quite a while to decide to get one. Not sure why !! Looking around in the classifieds section here for a deal on a decent pair to kick-start the journey-that-will-never-end.

Happy to be part of this community :)

Hi everyone, my name is Harry. I found head-fi when I started looking for how to DIY earbuds.
My gear starting from Soundmagic E50s > NuForce NE 700m > Koss Portapro > Hiby R3 > Topping Nx2s > AAW A2H and now I focused on the earbud.
My favorite genre is classical music and instruments. Next gear maybe Grado Sr80e because sometimes I feel tried with IEMs.
Let's burn it up together!

Welcome!! Just in case you were not aware, I wanted to let you know/slash remind you that you will need 30 days and 15 posts in order to make a purchase on the classifieds. This is in order to reduce the impact of scammers and trolls and so forth (not that you, obviously, are either of those!). Good luck to you with your open-back journey!! :-)
