According to the tracking number my Shure SE535's are to be delivered TODAY!!!
I can't wait.
I have been looking for a good FLAC file, media player to go with the 535's but I realized that I was already set for the player. I just needed to round out what I already have with an amplifier. I have a ZUNE HD 64 which I love and my Nokia 1020 smartphone that I just downloaded the Audiotica media player app for to play FLAC and other HD music files.

I just ordered an JDS Labs cMoyBB v2.03 amplifier and hope that it will work well with the Shure SE 535 IEM's and the ZUNE HD or Nokia phone.

First registered in 2013, but finally started posting today.  I've had a basic Fiio E06 and ATH-M50's for a couple of years.  Looking to make a few changes in the coming weeks...maybe some open backed phones (HD 650 currently leading the pack).  Also trying to find the best amp/dac situation.  Seems like a lot of very smart people on here so I can't wait to learn more.

HD650 is definitely a great choice. Open back is definitely a step u from closed back phones. Let us know what your budget is and how you plan on using your phones (Out of PC, smartphone or DAP. and if you plan on using it for travel) and we can point you in the right direction.

Thanks.

From the fact sheet, looks like these are easy to drive and pretty sensitive IEMs. You wont need an amp. May be once you buy your next $700 pair, you could give Fiio E12A or Cayin C5 a try. I have been reading that people notice an improvement in sound quality with these amps on high-end IEMs.

Okie then. Thanks for informing. Tried these before and they're so organic to my ears... And this is just on my smartphone's 320 kb mp3 files (Spotify)
