Can you verify if there's a hum on the unit( even when off) when I put the headphone plug on the chassis. The iem are ie900 it that helps. Thanks.

I can verify that would not be normal. You should talk to your dealer about getting that sorted out.

Many of our MHA200 customers also own the Meze Elite. The general customer opinion is they make a great pairing.
For the most part the Elites and MHA200 sound pretty good together. The bass is a little lose to my ears especially with bass heavy tracks. So I prefer the Elites on solid state amps. The bass is taunt and my GS-X has much better control of the drivers to my ears.

Oh man that sucks. I had nothing but issues with this amp. The first time I took it to my dealer they said it was a cold solder and had that fix. The second time was a bad tube. And now this. The worst part is I think my dealer moved to a different state. I bought it at Brooks Berdan. Thanks for your reply.

Brooks Berdan is out of business is what I’m told. Brooks was a great guy but died many years ago. The warranty service is George Meyer AV (310) 820-1113.

Purchased MHA200 and Audeze LCD 5 today (demo'd in store with Chord TT2 - was amazing and purchased on the spot).

At home connected to my Chord poly/mojo which then decided to die.

What to buy now..portable streamer/dac - thinking Hugo 2/ 2go - great sound but the chord app/interface and wifi dropouts are a real pain, tbh can live it if it is still the best option at the price point.

Anyone have any alternative suggestions. it has to be transportable/portable/streamer/dac..Is there a DAP out there that can compete with Hugo2/2go and more user friendly?. Also appreciate input from more experienced than me on the optimum cabling setup options (right now just Audioquest 2.5mm into RCA cable).

I don't have MHA200. Don't want yet due to volume knob.....
I am using DX300MAX SS OR Ti DAP, 4.4mm LO to WA6SE or ALO Studio Six Tube Amp.
I Stream using Quobuz and internal SS card.
Sounds great so far.....

I was driving my MHA200 mostly by Hiby R8. SE line out. Mostly streaming Qobuz. Very versatile little brick. I like it.

I would be inclined to update/repair/replace the Chord Mojo/Poly as necessary. Mojo 2 is out and available. Poly has new firmware that is very stable. Cost effective and they make a nice pairing but admittedly I am a little biased...
