SEED version 1 showed up today. Nice cable, comfortable shells. Visually they're quite nice. Not going to talk about sound since it'll be completely irrelevant. Curious to see what tuning changes take place with the final version.

I made a bit of a first impression post HERE.

Gist is overall, out of the box, it's definitely a good product, a lot better for the warm sound enthusiast vs the old Seed and definitely a contender in the 2,500 peso market range (49usd) as the new Seed has good clarity, fast and responsive bass, vocals ride the music and don't get overrun with good highs. While I like the enclosed silicons, I have switched to the 64Audio enclosed foams, and really like the sound. I too, have about 10+ hours listening on them, but did plug the SEED in for an additional 15hrs. So in total, I am at about 25hrs. The foams gave me better isolation, fit and seal, enhancing the bass to my liking. And yes, it is not the H3!

I haven't tip rolled much since the stock mediums have worked well, but I don't think I'll be running them with foams. They're already a little too light on treble for my preferences, which means they'll probably be perfect for most, haha.
