Found another review for those who can read Japanese. I think the reviewer compares the FXT90 to the Radius. http://av.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/series/np/20110413_438950.html

Have to love JVCs innovative approach. Driver made of carbon nanotubes? The hardest materials known to man? Wow...Though it seems only one driver has this configuration and they aren't marking it as some sort of flagship, it still sounds very promising.

Just to clarify, an ideal dynamic driver should be rigid and yet pretty light in order to have really good response. The use of nanotubes sure sounds like a good approach to this.

I was looking around for a reasonably priced Radius TWF-11 but I think these are the dynamics I'm looking for. Pure indulgence to have a dual-dynamic.

haven't found anywhere to get them other than that Seyo-Shop option, which is apparently too expensive. As soon as I find them for 120-ish somehwere I'm all over them.

I demoed them a few days ago at Bic Camera in Nagoya but they were out of stock. Not sure if I would have picked them up. Brief impressions were that bass was strong,
sound was warm and smooth, but a bit muddy and lacking in detail. I am hoping to give them another try sometime soon though!

Seem to confirm earlier report that this is a basshead IEM. Thanks for the impression.

Roughly how would you say they compare to the Radius DDM? Is it a trade-off of fit vs. SQ?
