My Rox UF is approximately approaching 200 hrs. I had them @ 9 but deciding also between 10 and 12. When I had my friend's custom Rox, after burn in, i had them at 12 using zx1. Will try to compare UF and custom then...

Did you guys measure the actual resistance values between the left and right channel of the bass wire by using a DMM? I'm on my second cable now and I found out the right channel is 10 ohms greater than the left channel. So the left channel pot is at 8 o'clock and the right channel is at 10 o'clock.

The previous cable I used has tighter resistance values. I wonder if this could be an important factor that could influence differences in sound impressions.

Nope that eas5 Indie Rock, but I am on high gain.

Put it on low gain please. These are efficient IEMs, high gain is not necessary.

What are custom silicones? Do you mean an Otoplastik

Not to go too much off topic, search the forum / google: CustomArt IEMs.

They use silicon (soft) instead of acrylic (hard).

Just got mine ordered during the mooks festival in Singapore. This is my 6th customs, i must said other than the long wait, it is really disappointing as the fit is totally off. I can't even wear it for more than 10 mins.. shall return it soon..

Wow... Finally got my refit back.. Lol they screwed it all up again.. Guess they should just shut down the carbon fibre line. I suspect it it hand crafted, unlike the conventional ciem with is castes. The fit again,. Totally off after comparing with my other CIems.. It hurts..

The only thing they got it write.. The sound.. Great...

Back to waiting game again.. Look like I have to settle for universal if I want roxxane

I'm not sure, I ordered direct from Red Wine so I never had a stock AK240.

I've settled at 10am after spending plenty of time (over a week or so each) IIRC at 2pm, 8am, 9am, 11am, 12pm, 9am again.  I haven't touched the dial in about a month now.  

This is probably where I'm going to end up. 12 pm wasn't bad but was a bit too much. 9 am needed just a little more. 10am it is.

Yeah... the biggest issue is it seems 9am is ideal for ultimate clarity/transparency, but I just want bit more oomph sometimes.  It seems to be the happy medium for what I listen to.
