I always dig the clear ones, helps to see where my money has gone to.

Lmao. Honestly does it make you feel better. As for the wires I get the looks on the trains all the time. If it's not an apple or beats no one knows what the hell it is.
And then I have the silver wires from headphone lounge
So it looks like no other for sure. I have Cora like pupre or blue
Or black faces. It's all what we like in the end.

Thanks! Well I've loaned my X5 to another head-fi'er so I can only try it with my 901.

Since the Roxanne already has very prominent mids, at times I feel the sound is a little too thick. Other than that, the combo is excellent sounding.
I suspect the X5, which is more neutral, might be a better match in terms of sound signature.

I'll post some impressions later to the impressions thread.

I dig some translucency but same... like what I have with my TG!334s, so went w/ trans-black and an opaque faceplate.

That is what I do. Too. But clear looks cool to but just not for me
I guess I like to hide what cost me 1200 or more cause those tiny little metal boxes just to do it for me
