Nice job!

I'm sure you'll makle quite a few people happy!

LOL

I must be used to reading the LH, Trinity ,Echobox, Seiun threads too much because those folks would throw a party if they got this kind of communication instead of months/ years of broken promises and silence and fraud.

Bravo, Hidizs!

Agreed, Hidizs has been doing quite a great job at keeping in touch with their backers and such!

Yours wouldn't charge right? Have you tried charging via computer usb? A different power brick than huawei?

I've tried charging from multiple sources, using multiple cables. It won't take a charge from any of those combinations.

Mine did a thing. After udating it to the latest beta from HIDIZS's site, it went to 0% battery. then it took almost 4 hours to charge, becoming quite hot.

Right now the battery seems fine.

This might be some kind of re-balancing of the battery in the firmware, like, It forcefully resets its indicators to make sure you are getting the most of it. I had a phone that did something similar after firmware flahes.

Maybe this is what happened to @OldDude04 ?

Mine took almost two hours to go from 0% to 5%, then about 2 hours to go to 60%, then about 1 hour from 60% to 100%, so I have a feeling that some kind of recalibration was going on.

I wish that was what was going on with mine. Mine never took a charge, with firmware 1.7 it arrived with, or the firmware 1.8 or 1.9 I put on the device. I even left the thing on charge for 32 hours straight, no movement.

I'm sorry to hear that...

About your stufff, what is Huawei Mediapad 3 and what do you use it for? I was considering a tablet, but never had one before, so I don't know what one is or what to expect from the owning a tablet experience...

The MediaPad M3 is an Android Tablet. I use it quite a bit actually. Reading internet articles, controlling smart home devices, setting my DVR, occasional games, listening to music when I'm not at a desktop setup in the house. I use Neutron Player on it and match it up with my E17k. I even use it for Netflix when the wife wants to spend time with me, but she's watching something like Dancing With The Stars, lol.
