New FiiO M11S Player with dual ES9038Q2M DACs, 670mW output power and 14 hours of battery life

I´m having some issues when streaming via Bluetooth (APT HD); it simply starts working fine, then after a few songs it goes wild with either song going at double speed or completely fails (full noise audio).

Tried changing the codec but same issue, not sure if there are any other relevant settings.

I´m using Apple Music, so I´m guessing something wrong with that... but never had issues streaming from other devices ...

I had the same issue and it’s resolved by turning off the onboard equaliser.

It’s already off for me.

Not sure yet but the issue didn’t happen now when charging… happening a lot on low battery (battery saving disabled).

Maybe Android restricting something on the app to work correctly when low on battery?!

Sold my M11s barely used for a ridiculous USD $300.. nobody wanted it and I've had it listed for months..
(original box included, no signs of use, 1 year warranty remaining)

Absolutely, charged and removed any battery optimization and restriction on the background apps, still having the issue.

Will have to test if changes in Developer Settings make a difference.

Tried switching in developer settings bitrate to System Default but it keep switching automatically to 48khz… while songs are 44khz.

Seems the system sets the wrong bitrate which causes the music to either speed up or producing noise.

When I connect my M11S through Bluetooth to my car to play music, I have to turn up the volume on the M11S to the 90s/100s level to get decent playback volume to my car speakers. Is it because I’m using the SBC codec?

Did more testing and it seems the issue happens when the music (lossless mode with variable bitrate ) is stored on the device via cache or downloaded.

During first steaming works fine, once stored on the device there is the issue.

It does not happens with normals quality (AAC) during steaming or downloaded.

To recap; Lossless audio on Apple Music cannot be downloaded or stored as cache as the Bluetooth connection does not correctly manage the bitrate of each song.


Regarding the codecs it seems to appear in Apt, AptHD and AAC; LDAC works fine.

I sent an email to the folder with the log containing the data from my FiiO M11S that I generated shortly after the FiiO Music app crashed. The problem occurred on July 6, 2024 (FiiO M11S firmware is updated to the latest version). The problem appears to have occurred after starting a track with a higher sample rate.

I'm looking for a DAP with a good parametric EQ for playing music in FLAC from a microSD card. Does M11S has it in Pure mode? As I understand M11S had some basic graphic EQ only when released. Do the latest firmaware updates provide a fully fledged PEQ?

Hello, my question is how to put the device into deep sleep. Does the Enter Sleep application put it into deep sleep? As far as I can see, there is no airplane mode. Is it enough to turn off wi-fi and bluetooth?
