Not USB out but you can use it as a transport with optical out

I wish I grabbed the L on Amazon last week for $1100. I went with with the MK 2 for a steal of $421 shipped. I do have many DAPs and I am wondering if the L can equal or exceed the WM1Z in stock form with just a modified firmware. I have the Plenue 2 MK2 and I find the control and jack placement rather odd. I am used to Sony DAPs and the control are placed on the right side of the unit. Not a fan of the headphone jack placement either. Given these minor complaints, I do like the sound of the 2 mk2 quite a bit hence my post in the L thread.

That means you prefer the WM 1Z than the Plenue 2 mkii? Have you tried the JetEffects?
