I don't know, I don't consider myself an extremist, but I assure you that many people who have to deal with 10000k HI-FI and beyond have no doubts about preferring vinyl over anything else..I met the editor of the best and historical magazine Italian specialist in the "Sound" sector who claimed, probably to confirm his thesis, that in the transition from digital to analog, in any format, there was an almost imperceptible loss of harmonics and that therefore the sound was in no way more faithful to reality and a very specialized ear like his was able to pick it up and nothing ever sounded like a vinyl..I don't know if this is true or not and not that I care a lot, I'm not a fanatic or a collector..but in somehow I feel that for me the vinyl is more complete, much more uncomfortable but ..
