Thanks for the clarification Nattydraddy. The sizing makes sense; the porta board is jam packed as it is right now. Thought the good Doctor may have found some silicon to handle that signal processing.

Cripes, I was hoping it would cost around the same price as the MkIII. Oh well, quality comes at a price!

The MKIII with USB was 185€, so i would call that around the same......

I think Jan (business at least) resides in Germany; it's where the bank wires are sent, etc. I'm from the US. I'm not sure what NATO has to do with taxing authority or how the EU tax structure works regarding individual countries.

I am hoping it works like Canada's VAT; where it's something I don't have to worry about; the seller collects and reports it some way or another.

Corda Move looks much like Porta Corda MkIII, but the former is a bit thicker. Whereas Porta Cantate resembles Porta Opera, but looks a bit smaller. Some new targets for me.....

From what I heard from Jan, I believe there would be a non-DAC version new portable amp will be released later. The USB-DAC feature may be suitable for those business men carrying the laptops, who don't have iPOD (etc).

I do more home listening from my laptop than I do portable listening, so I guess it'll work for me too.
