NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas

Wow...a new CFA single DD IEM is something I've been craving for a while. The Atlas was my gateway to the upper tiers of this hobby and I still have a soft spot for it. And I've always wanted to hear a Vega. This may prove to be very tempting, especially as I have a CFA brick and mortar distributor close by with Headphone Bar :)

Lucky! You'll have to give your impressions. We have nothing here for CFA in Colorado, unfortunately.

Anyone know where I can get a long mmcx cable with 1/4 inch plug? Need it for my Atlas.

I bought this cable on aliexpress at this link:

I don't know if they are original but everyone in the comments says yes. There is a person who indicates that he has bought in bulk from the manufacturer. I have compared them to the original 3.5mm that came with my Campfire Atlas and they are identical in both materials and finishes and audio quality.

What is your opinion? They even say that it was already discussed in a post on this forum and it was concluded that it was, but I can't find it anywhere ...

I will let you know when I've received it.

These are probably made in China for CA. I would imagine the seller has purchased them directly from the manufacturer and cut out the middle man.

CA will loose money on every purchase but I wouldn't have paid full price from CA for the cable anyway, I would have got a cheaper one.

Dude, that big old gold termination does not look like official campfire Audio cables. My atlas did not have a big gold termination like that
The original 4.4 cable carries that termination too

Dude, go to the Campfire audio website. The picture looks the same to me, almost as if the seller stole the picture too. :)

I have the aliexpress cable in hand and I tell you that it is exactly the same and the sound too.

Yes, but taking a risk with a $ 60 cable is not the same as doing it with a $ 500 headphone 🤣 if you want to try, I don't risk it there
