Is there any chance that the Statement amp will have even higher power output? My HE6 are hungry little fellas!

I just heard the newest version of Mjolnir/Gungnir at the T.H.E show in Los Angeles.  The unit's build looked much more refined and ready to go than the last time I saw it at the Head-Fi meet at the Village.  It looked and sounded great, I can't wait to hear the final product.

Sweet sweet candy.....

Looks a lot shinier than my Bifrost and Lyr. The pictures almost make it look stainless steel.

I talked with the Schiit people at the The Show yesterday. They are targeting October/November for an announcement of the Statement. The current plan is to offer it in two versions, one SS and the other a tube/SS hybrid.

October/November for "announcement", or "release"? Could you clarify? With mid-tier balanced amps there is a several months gap between announcement and release.

I asked: when will you release the Statement amp. Jason responded: "we are hoping to make an announcement in October." I did not ask him to clarify. FWIW, Jason did say the company is now more organized and caught up with orders, and that they were now able to spend more time on engineering.

Thanks for this info, tube SS hybrid is what I am interested in.
The volume pot seems to be awfully close to the output connectors, kinda awkward for a right handed man to control volume.

Can't wait for the Statement announcement. The Mjolnir seems to be setting the bar when it comes to affordable high end audio.

So will the SQ be a good balance for both High and Low impedance headphones ie..  Like the Grado's for low impedance and the Beyer's and Senns. for high impedance?

Just to bust your chops a bit here  You know he won't tell you that. He would be limiting the sales of his products, and if he does it will be "Yes, of course!" He is leaving it to us HeadFi'ers to be the proper judge... I suppose I am the "high impedance" guinea pig lol
