My lifestyle is not at where I can spend 3250€(excl VAT) on USB card. I am satisfied with the bridges I have.

Look at that card as a perfection for the Ultra streamer. You need a very high level source. Very high level of power/source. Not the standard 2k$ PSUs.

Only buy that card if you have a dedicated audiophile ATX PSU from Farad/JCAT

Another point is that I am on Apple computers and it seems the PF USB v2 bridge is not compatible with these.

Yeah go for a USB reclocker/bridge.

I have to correct/rephrase myself on regarding Pink Faun cables, saying that it is a good match in general with Audio-gd. My focus has been so much on the R1N lately. My achievements from Pink Faun has solely been on the R1N. Even though I really feel like saying the R1N chain has surpassed the R8H2...That one has not even started.

R1N: PF SPDIF Bridge -> PF COAX ->D20H ->PF I2S -> R1N->H9L

DI20(non-he) does something very nice(better than DI20HE) to the R8H2. However my experience say R8H2 hungers for some silver to open up. As soon as I connected some silverplated wires it felt like it gave me a taste of what the pairing journey will be like for this one...

Before any cables for R8H2 I will have to try DI24HE to see if I can get a way with that one to open up the R8H2 some more.

May be worth a try too with the R8H2 is the Pink Faun USB bridge v2 with (or without) the LHY UIP, both together cost about the same as a DI24HE.

I would buy the UIP if I did not have computer. However the PinkFaun USB Bridge V2 will be better without UIP. They are both bridges, same purpose.

As far as I know. It will not be the same as V1 where the input board is interchangable between SPDIF and I2S. I also heard that I2S was next.

Different products. Different niche. Pink Faun is great for DIY builders. DI24HE is a machine from my assumption. DDC and Masterclock in one. Earlier in audio-gd thread I did mention this over a year ago, that I wanted(prediction) a masterclock from Audio-gd. It is just in a period where I experience so much improvements from the final stage of R1N....I still can not afford it.

The PF COAX cable on the Bridge V1 does something nice to the DI20HE/R1N. A song I have been listening to for so long, started to have reverb/delays I can hear with such authority, I was like..."where were they before?!"

These cables COAX/I2S is, relaxation, I hear everything so slowly, but still on time.
