Just an aside, I just got my HiFiMAN carrying case and I highly recommend it. Excellent build quality and I have had my share of crappy ones. They will protect my HE-400S real nicely.

I'm also among the first to have ordered on 1st of July but I got no email nor does it show my item as shipped on Head-Direct. This sucks. I don't live in the US like you guys but that shouldn't mean anything as they ship from China. I hate this kind of inconsistencies.

They probably just didn't have enough people to process all the shipping and emails at the same day. Give them another day or two to finish all the order processing.

I ordered mine from head-direct also on 7-1 at 2:08 est and I did not get an e-mail. Did you and raybone get 2 day shipping? My carry case I ordered at the same time was sent 2 day priority and I used the same option for my HE-400S. I will be OK but I am really looking forward to these badboys.
