MYSPHERE 3.1 "FAQ's"
Dec 31, 2019 at 1:18 PM Post #77 of 165
As I found some time this holidays at home and following requests from you, I measured the frequency responses of a MYSPHERE 3.2 using the following front cushions:
"N-cushion" = the standard type
"T-cushion" = the more transparent type
"B-cushion" = the prototype of the Bass enhancing type of cushion
I did this on my private simple ARTA measurement tool with a simplified artificial head suing ear compensation - just for comparison reason.
The difference is indeed huge. And which one of the cusions do you prefer yourself when you listen to music through the Mysphere?

Yes, today there are already two pads versions and two headbow cushions.
Just read the latest news letters.
The new ear pad will complete it.
To decide, the dealers will be happy to demo.
Best regards Heinz

I am more interested in just buying so could you tell me how much
extra for all available pads and what bow size would I need - I know I
want the 3.2. I've been on the wooaudio authorized site and see no place
that allows me to purchase these extra items. Whether I want extra pads
for different genre's is somewhat related to pricing so that I may decide if
added benefits to price ratio is reasonable for me.

Thanks in advance

Thank you for this important question!
To make decision not influenced by small price differences in production, we offer all variants of pads, cushions, drivers for just the same price.
Those dealers world-wide which have shops intend to have all variants available to demo to those who are interested in.
Yes, you are right, it should be better visible on the various homepages of the dealers as well and it will become visible on our own page soon also.
Our shop prices are:
Sound-Frame Cushion L+R €400,-
Head-Bow Cushion L+R €200,-
Sound-Frame complete L & R €2.100,-
It's difficult to predict which parts are ideal for you personally without knowing you. But you are welcome to drop a PM and we could explore deeper.

Hi Heinz,
a couple of questions:
1. What cables come with the standard Mysphere 3 (cable length, connectors)?
2. Can you order a set with the "B" cushions fitted, rather than as an optional extra?

Hello John,
Exactly this flexibility to order different product details will be announced very soon.
First you will get it at the dealers. Second on the web shop.
Today the standard cable is for mobile use and featuring the 3.5mm connection.

The new bass cushions and all the two others for MYSPHERE 3 are available now online and at your dealers:

Please choose from the following Soundframe-Cushion variants:

“Standard” Cushion (Art.-No. CA0510)
This Soundframe-Cushion version offers a linear frequency response and thus the most
neutral tuning relative to sound events in free field. These cushions are acoustically tuned
with the MYSPHERE 3 in such a way that the relationship between dynamic pressure at the
ear and the achievable spatial representation of transparency is balanced.
“Transparent” Cushion (Art.No. CA0520)
This type of cushion achieves the highest transparency in the tonal behavior. These cushions
are particularly convincing for classical music recordings of large orchestras.
“Bass” Cushion (Art.No. CA0530)
This type of cushion achieves an increase of up to +10dB at 20Hz at the ear relative to the
level at 700Hz. This is achieved by increasing the sound pressure by proximity-effect but
without any resonators. The upper mids and highs are not affected by this. However, this
function only works when the pad is placed directly (touching) on the ear. As soon as the
sound-frames are angled more, the level in the away the bass level is the same as with the
standard cushion. The advantage of this is that the sound impression can be adjusted to suit
individual taste and music.

I checked wooaudio(my dealer) website-I didn’t see any cushions-I will now check the mysphere site.

i don’t see any way of purchasing from the mysphere.at site, either-not in an automated self service fashion that is apparent to me. Your assistance would be welcomed. Just take my money, Heinz.

i may have missed it but how much for a set of both non-standard cushions-I would like both the transparent and bass heavy to go with my 3.2 standards Never mind, saw euro price above- will convert to usd. Converted 400 euros to 469.00 USD - a bit pricey for just cushions- their are no drivers correct?
