For owners who purchased their headphones prior to June 2017, you might consider ordering new ear pads, our more recent pads improved deep bass output and comfort, with a firmer feel and an upgraded memory foam.

The kits will be available for sale on our store by Sunday. We will provide complimentary upgrades to anyone who has purchased on or before August 31, 2018, just scan or photograph your invoice if you bought through a retailer and email it to info@mrspeakers.com, or if you ordered directly, contact us at info@mrspeakers.com.
I thought so, too, but went with it. Got an email today:This feels almost too generous, Dan. Am I reading it correctly that even those of us who bought at launch back in 10/2016 will be eligible to receive the tuning kit for free?
I suppose @mrspeakers meant "on or after" instead of "on or before". Makes more sense this way: If you bought it recently, you don't have to feel bad about your new headphones being immediately outdated, so to speak.Unfortunately, your headphones were purchased before August 31, 2018.
Regards,
Steve

Lower price is always niceUhm... did anyone notice that the Ether Flow 1.1 and Ether C Flow 1.1 are listed for $1600 instead of the 1.0's $1800?
He has left detailed comments on Massdrop, but only about the difference to the original Ether, I think.Has Dan @mrspeakers commented yet on the Massdrop Ether C that was just announced? How is it different from a standard Ether C or Flow?
Go back a page or 2 and read the massdrop discussionHas Dan @mrspeakers commented yet on the Massdrop Ether C that was just announced? How is it different from a standard Ether C or Flow?
Ether Flow angled pad is currently out of stock. Makes my decision easier for now.
Wow, glad I ordered mine last night.
In that case, we expect impressions upon receipt!
