The question is will these new pads squeak against my glasses like the old ones did. Only pads I have ever used that did that. Also how do they sound compared to the Fostex Dekoni Hybrid pads..

Fostex Dekoni pads can fit the Ether? Any improvement on that in terms of SQ and soundstage?

Very interested in the upgrade kit and new pads. I’ve been using the e-stat pads since release, but the deeper bass response sounds compelling.

This is just for the flow? I'm curious if this would be good on the 1.1 as well.

Since the existing dampening is completely different on the Flows vs original Ether's, I doubt the new upgrade kit would be compatible (or rather recommended). I'm sure Dan (@mrspeakers) can confirm this.

I think the new tuning kit is too bright on the original ETHERs, but with different damping materials in addition to the paper you might make it work. The modders are always encouraged to try it.

We took it off the price list but if you have a desire just email Info@mrspeakers.com. It’s very hard to slot upgrades in during peak season and with new products but usually by first quarter things slow down and we can handle service requests like this...

Fostex Dekoni pads can fit the Ether? Any improvement on that in terms of SQ and soundstage?

They fit perfectly. I would say they are a sonic combination of the stock pads and the electrostat pads but more comfortable.

Or are they not on the shop yet?
I’ve got ETHER Flow update in January 2017 and if I order pads again, it will be different one though it looks the same?
