I suppose @mrspeakers meant "on or after" instead of "on or before". Makes more sense this way: If you bought it recently, you don't have to feel bad about your new headphones being immediately outdated, so to speak.

I figured as much! I'll order the upgrade kit today for my ECF. Debating the "new" pads. My stat pads are getting pretty depressed from use, but I have a pair of the angled pads from 10/2016 that are still in decent shape. Decisions, decisions...
