Just got my ECF 1.1, applause to Dan and Co. These are tuned to perfection, haven't even used the 1.1 filters yet. Love them!

Absolutely beautiful! Steller looks and sound.:L3000:

Cannot wait to try out the filters.

Does anyone in this thread find the filters to alter bass response?

I found my Ether C Flow 1.1 less full sounding after the upgrade, but the black felt rounds it out for me. Without it, I found the bass a bit lacking. I don't know whether the black felt increases bass or slightly lowers everything else, but I like the result. I look forward to trying again with new pads, which are supposed to bump the bass a bit.

Yes, the tuning without any filters is a bit brighter than the original tuning, but with the damping you can adjust it to warmer. You can combine the filters, too. Personally I use white plus foam a lot, or just white.

From a damping perspective Foam<Black Felt<White Felt.

What’s the improvement?
I don’t want to be the guy, but since this is happening more and more on the thread recently, please use the search function.

(Spoiler: MrSpeakers changed the memory foam in the summer of 2017. This change to firmer foam improved comfort for some and also improved the low end response).
