m50 is very good. I have it right now. shure 840 might be a little better, then m50 is better for portable with iphone due to smaller design. which I carry my iphone with m50 to school everyday.

Have looked around further on reviews and such and rounded down the headphones to DJ1 and ES7. If the DJ1 is as big as I think, then it ends up with ES7.
 
thought about DJ1 Pro at a time but the impendance would scare my mp3 shitless.
