So someone on Twitter just noted that the Moondrop idol is named Suigetsu Yuki on the leather case but Mitsukihimi on the player itself. Did they just settle on the name in Chinese and contract out the Japanese translation to two different companies for the case and for the player?

There are small adjustments to the analog circuit, based on feedback form Moondrop X Tanchjim. So bit different sound tuning.

Still I would consider to redesign the back.
It's not bad, like I said I like anime artstyle. But it's a little bit loud, a more simplistic yet still anime-esque design would be perfect.

i also agree about being loud. i like how sony does their monster hunter, haikyuu, fgo and auqors collabs but can be too small maybe just under half of the back not 90% coverage? looks nice though.

Maybe that depended on where they ordered from, did you order from hifigo? I believe that 500 were released into the international market, but by looking at the serial number it looks like there are 1000 within China. To me it looks like there are 1500 devices in total.
