Congrats! Remember it needs 300 hours of burn in before you will hear its full potential.

Just got this baby in the door.

Need to let her warmup before powering up. The unit has quite a heft to it.

Sweet ..............

Curious to know, those with the DAC feature what do you generally run it in?

On average do you find yourself utilizing the 32 bit or keeping it at 44.1 and 24 bit.

I would love to hear your impressions with your findings when comparing the various bit rates / formats ...etc.

Enquiring minds want to know

I haven't received mine yet, but my answer for all DACs is that upsampling does nothing at best (makes things worse sometimes).
Better to match the source output.

Good point aphex27.

Hopefully soon.

ı have  naim nd5xs streamer, will it be worth spending extra to buy the dac version? or just amp version and use ıt with naim... any comments?

Heres the thing, the nd5xs is not a balanced unit.  If you want a fully balanced setup then you either need a new DAC that is balanced or stick with the built in DAC of the 430HA-D.

It saves you the cost of having to buy a new balanced DAC that is worthy of such an amp (4k +), not to mention possibly having to buy balanced inteconnects.

The way it stands is that the 430HA-D is fully balanced as is.

Keep in mind that this only really matters if you will be running your headphones balanced.
