Desktop Amps:

DAC:
SMSL Sanskrit 6th

They sound great over any clean source and respond well to EQ.

I use my Grace SDAC to my Emotiva BASX A-100 Amp, sounds incredible. I don't take them out of the house so I don't have a portable set up.

I second this! My M1060 (modded with vegans + 3D printed grilles) sound really good out of my BasX A-100. It also sounds quite good from my IFI iCAN SE.

For longer listening sessions, does m1060 sound fatiguing?

I've only had the m1060s for a couple days so it's too early to tell if they will be fatiguing. I don't think I'm getting any of the infamous 5K "ringing", but I am not sure because there doesn't seem to be a good / objective description of it that people agree on in this thread. I do think they are a little harsher in that frequency range than my HD6XXs, but it's not a showstopper for me because I enjoy the overall sound signature so far.

Schiit Jotunheim with Multibit DAC. I'm using the stock cable with the 1060s. I'm still looking into balanced cable options.

I can't recommend Periapt cables enough. I've gotten a few cables from them now and they have been fantastic, plus they don't break the bank. HERE is a link to a 7ft dual 2.5mm to 4pin XLR cable from them.
