It looks like Monoprice on ebay has the M1060 again. I just picked up a pair to try. These will be my first planar headphones. I hope they sound good. I'll be comparing them to my HD650 and my AKG K7XX. I am also looking at the M560, but hope the M1060 does not disappoint.

I like that they have the list price at $349 there... and $299 on the mp site.

I noticed that too. I do not mind paying the $10 more in price than on their site if they come early. It would be well worth it if they sound good as well.

m1060 should be in the lcd2 territory, while my m560 is better than my h400i.

Currently use monoprice dac/amp and AQ DFB, but I have the nfb11 on order. The m560 (open w/o the cups) were a bit more dynamic, have better imaging/vocal clarity/transparency, easier to drive and it's build/pads/comfort are way better also.

Son of a biscuit! Just got an email from Monoprice that the M1060 is not available, and a refund has been issued. I guess we gotta wait until February.

Well that was too good to be true! I got an email saying the item is out of stock and they refunded my money! Looks like I may pick up the M560 to see what they are about and hold me until the M1060 come in stock.
