That happens with neutrik rean connectors, by design flaw. Maybe these share thatOne minor issue I do run into is one of the mini XLRs is very hard to be unplugged, anyone else has similar experience and what did you do in the end? The thing is right now I need to put my HP back in the case after I use them, otherwise I would not bother me as much.
Otherwise I am having a sublime time with the Empyrean!
I have emailed Meze for their comment, the local agent is ready to help, so I am not concerned. The last thing I want to do is to send mine in for repairs, which I don't think is necessary anyway. That happens with neutrik rean connectors, by design flaw. Maybe these share that
Thank you my friendOK, that thing right there gets my vote for the best custom stuff I saw here on HF for a loooong time. Kudos! You nailed it!
There was a similar issue mentioned in post #4231 and answered #4232, which might help. One minor issue I do run into is one of the mini XLRs is very hard to be unplugged, anyone else has similar experience and what did you do in the end? Hi there, were you able to address the issue you had with the mini XLR plug being too snug?I just asked this question a week or 2 ago. I was told that pressing the release button and pushing inward a little before release would make it easier to remove. I have done so and it is still pretty snug. I am having a Norne S3 cable made and hope Eidolic mini XLR are easier to remove. I absolutely love the Empy's other than that small issue.
Im sorry, but is meze past the rumours of rebranding by now? Or were those confirmed?
My first attempt at making a stand for these babies or anything for that matter, this was a trial run before I break out the pricey wood and glad I did it as I ran into things I did not expect. For the final I am going use Bloodwood and just engrave the logo into that, lights are a bit much and that wood will be to awesome to hide. I only made it for all the stands I had the cable ends would bump off the surface and I did not like that so I wanted something taller and more stable.
Design. Comfort. Sound. True audio.

@MezeTeam , hi, can you share your comment on this small issue please? I love the Empyrean, just hope this little thing can be sorted out. Cheers.I have emailed Meze for their comment, the local agent is ready to help, so I am not concerned. As part of a video series about a couple of non-audiophile friends trying out my headphones, they tried, and loved, the Empyreans. They are in Part 2 of the series here:
Oh, cool!Going purely from memory I think it was recognised that some of their early models were rebranded. But I don’t think they have rebranded anything for more than half a decade and to the best of my knowledge none of their current products are rebrands.
